Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (4 additional years in lieu of a degree)
- Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT or eFIT
- 4 years of experience in software development with a strong technical foundation
- 2 years of experience delivering technology solutions throughout the software development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews
- Basic knowledge of languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Developing understanding of business operations, risk management, and industry trends
- Experience addressing production issues in applications and systems
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Basic familiarity with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions
- Investigate and resolve complex application and system issues and outages
- Enhance operations through detailed systems analysis and recommend modifications to policies and procedures
- Prepare and install intricate solutions by meeting system specifications and programming standards
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle
- Participate in design reviews and grasp essential system design principles
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially assist peer engineers; review teammates code
- Identify, measure, monitor, and manage risks associated with business activities in line with compliance policies
