Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of professional experience in lieu of a degree
- Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT
- 4 years of software development experience showcasing technical proficiency in specific technologies
- 2 years of experience managing technology solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including code/design reviews
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Developing insight into business operations, risk management, and industry trends
- Experience in addressing production issues by troubleshooting applications and systems
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Basic knowledge of cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and test intricate technical solutions
- Investigate and resolve sophisticated application and system issues
- Enhance operations by conducting thorough systems analysis and recommending procedural changes
- Prepare and implement complex solutions by developing system specifications and standards
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle
- Participate in design evaluations and understand key system design principles
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially assist peer engineers; review team members code
- Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks associated with business activities, ensuring compliance with policies and standards
