Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or 4 additional years of experience can substitute for the degree requirement
- Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT
- 4 years of software development experience showcasing deep technical understanding in relevant disciplines/technologies
- 2 years of experience providing technology solutions throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, or Python
- Developing level of understanding in business operations, risk management, and industry trends
- Experience in troubleshooting applications and systems to address production issues
- Ability to clearly articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and conduct testing for intricate technical solutions
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex application and system issues
- Continuously enhance operations through complex systems analysis and policy recommendations
- Prepare and implement complex solutions by determining system specifications and standards
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle
- Participate in design reviews and absorb key system design principles
- Provide mentorship to junior and peer engineers, and review team code
- Identify, measure, monitor, and manage risks associated with business activities in line with compliance policies
