Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT
- 4 years of software development experience demonstrating significant technical knowledge in specific technologies
- 2 years of experience involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews
- Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Developing understanding of business operations, risk management practices, and emerging trends
- Experience troubleshooting applications and systems to address production issues
- Ability to communicate technical challenges and solutions effectively
- Basic comprehension of cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement intricate technical solutions
- Investigate and resolve challenging application and system issues through effective troubleshooting methods
- Enhance operational processes by conducting thorough systems analysis and recommending policy and procedure adjustments
- Prepare and execute complex solutions by defining system specifications and programming standards
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle throughout project execution
- Participate in design reviews and acquire knowledge of essential system design principles
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially guide peer engineers; perform code reviews
- Identify, evaluate, monitor, and mitigate risks associated with business activities in alignment with compliance protocols
