Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative analytics field (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science) or equivalent experience
- 4 years of relevant experience in data/analytics or functional business context within the respective industry (e.g., P&C, Banking, Finance) or an advanced degree with 2 years experience in the industry
- Proficient in mathematical and statistical methodologies for data-driven decision-making
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, SQL, SAS, BI tools, or equivalent analytical software
- Experience in connecting external insights with business challenges
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and develop solution strategies
- Utilize advanced analytical methods to address medium to large-scale business challenges
- Apply innovative quantitative techniques to derive actionable insights that align with business objectives
- Prepare and deliver communication materials for peer review and to senior management
- Use data visualization techniques to enhance comprehension among non-technical audiences
- Identify and acquire high-quality data sources to support analysis and strategic recommendations
- Integrate and cleanse diverse data sets while applying appropriate data hygiene methodologies
- Document assumptions, methodologies, and validation processes to facilitate compliance and peer reviews
- Stay updated with emerging technologies that impact analytical practices
- Present findings in a clear manner that influences business strategy and decision-making
- Monitor and manage risks associated with business activities in accordance with compliance standards
