Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience can serve in place of a degree OR approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT
- 4 years of software development experience showcasing strong technical knowledge within specific disciplines/technologies
- 2 years of experience delivering technological solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including leading code and design reviews
- Basic knowledge of one or more of the following: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Developing level of business acumen related to operations, risk management, industry practices, and emerging trends
- Experience addressing production issues through application and system troubleshooting
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and proposed solutions
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, create, code, and test intricate technical solutions
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and production problems using troubleshooting approaches
- Enhance operations by performing complex systems analysis and suggesting modifications to policies and procedures
- Develop and implement sophisticated solutions by defining system specifications, standards, and programming
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle throughout projects
- Engage in design reviews and internalize key design principles
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and potentially assist peers
- Review code produced by teammates
- Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks associated with business activities in accordance with compliance policies and procedures
