Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, economics, finance, actuarial sciences, science and engineering, or a similar quantitative discipline; - 4 years of experience in statistics, mathematics, quantitative analytics, or related fields can substitute for a degree; - 2 years of experience in predictive analytics or data analysis, or an advanced degree in a relevant quantitative field; - Proficiency in training and validating statistical, physical, machine learning, and other sophisticated analytical models; - Experience with one or more programming languages, such as Python or R, for statistical analyses and AI/ML model building; - Ability to write comprehensible and well-documented code; - Experience querying and preprocessing data from structured and unstructured databases using languages like SQL, HQL, or NoSQL; - Familiarity with various data file types, including delimited numeric data files, JSON/XML files, and text documents; - Knowledge of classical supervised and unsupervised modeling concepts and technologies; - Ability to effectively communicate analytical and modeling results to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Capture, interpret, and manipulate both structured and unstructured data to create analytical solutions for the organization; - Select appropriate modeling techniques and technologies considering data limitations and business requirements; - Develop and implement models within the Model Development Control (MDC) and Model Risk Management (MRM) framework; - Create technical documents for knowledge retention and risk management purposes; - Consult with peers for mentorship and guidance when necessary; - Translate business inquiries into specific analytical questions, conduct analysis and modeling, and present results to non-technical team members; - Collaborate with Data Engineering, IT, and other internal partners to deploy analytical solutions that align with customer expectations and comply with modeling best practices; - Pursue opportunities for learning new analytical techniques and methodologies; - Identify and manage risks associated with business activities in line with compliance policies and standards.
