Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, economics, finance, actuarial sciences, engineering, or other relevant quantitative fields; or 4 years of experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics may substitute for degree
- At least 2 years of experience in predictive analytics or data analysis, or an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, PhD) in a quantitative discipline
- Proven experience in training and validating statistical, physical, machine learning, and other advanced analytical models
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for statistical analysis and AI/ML model development
- Ability to write clear, detailed, and well-documented code for transparency
- Experience in querying and preprocessing data from structured and/or unstructured databases using languages such as SQL, HQL, or NoSQL
- Familiarity with handling structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data files, including CSV, JSON/XML, and text documents
- Knowledge of classical supervised modeling techniques such as regression, support vector machines, and decision trees
- Familiarity with unsupervised modeling techniques such as k-means clustering and hierarchical clustering
- Strong communication skills to convey analytical and modeling results to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Capture, interpret, and manipulate both structured and unstructured data to support analytical solutions for the business
- Select suitable modeling techniques considering data limitations, applications, and business requirements
- Develop and implement models within the Model Development Control and Model Risk Management frameworks
- Create technical documentation for knowledge retention, risk management, and technical review
- Provide mentorship to peers as needed
- Translate business inquiries into specific analytical questions, performing analysis and modeling, and presenting results to non-technical colleagues
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, IT, and other internal teams to align analytical solutions with the customer’s vision and modeling best practices
- Seek continuous learning opportunities for new techniques, technologies, and methodologies
- Ensure all risks linked to business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and managed according to risk and compliance policies
