Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4 additional years of experience beyond the minimum requirement can be used in lieu of a degree
- 6 years of software development experience showcasing deep technical knowledge within specific disciplines/technologies
- 4 years of experience providing technology solutions in all phases of the software development and application lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews
- Basic understanding of one or more programming languages: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, Python
- Proven experience in researching technical issues and offering innovative solutions
- Demonstrated capability to troubleshoot applications and systems to resolve production issues
- Strong ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions
- In-depth knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate tactical and strategic technical solutions across various technologies, including new innovations
- Lead code/design reviews and communicate updates to stakeholders for seamless daily operations and precise planning
- Create complex algorithms to meet business needs
- Investigate and resolve intricate application and system technical issues, directing troubleshooting of end-to-end solutions
- Mentor and coach engineers on system design, development, and maintenance, reviewing teammates’ code
- Influence and shape the future architecture and quality standards within the domain
- Identify system performance challenges, including technical debt, and optimize solutions
- Ensure risks linked to business activities are effectively identified, assessed, monitored, and managed in line with risk and compliance policies
