Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree; or 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree
- 10 years of experience in Information Technology, including 2 years in a technical leadership role
- Experience in technology application development or infrastructure implementation
- Deep knowledge in at least one technology domain (application, infrastructure, operations, etc.)
- Ability to explain complex technology decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and build trust with management and stakeholders
- Understanding of technical architecture standards and regulations, along with risk management practices
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver multi-channel digital experiences servicing millions of members
- Modernize enterprise APIs and services with technologies such as REST, GraphQL, and cloud-native patterns
- Implement real-time and event-driven architectures to create responsive experiences
- Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure accessibility and performance across digital platforms
- Integrate experience measurement tools to enable data-driven insights
- Define API-first strategies and microservices architecture for large-scale systems
- Establish engineering standards and improve development lifecycles
- Provide architectural guidance for AI/ML-driven personalization
- Lead modernization initiatives for legacy platforms, promoting cloud-native technologies
- Prototype experience management frameworks utilizing relevant platforms for insights
- Influence technology decisions across the enterprise and drive best practices
- Mentor engineers and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement
- Foster collaboration across product, data science, and operations teams to align technology with business goals
