Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 6 years of software development experience with technical expertise in specific technologies
- 4 years of experience delivering technology solutions through all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Fundamental understanding of technologies such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Proven ability to research technical issues and propose innovative solutions
- Experience in troubleshooting production issues within applications and systems
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions clearly
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and system fundamentals
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions across multiple technologies, including emerging ones
- Participate in code and design reviews and communicate status updates to stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
- Develop complex algorithms to address business requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve complicated system and application issues
- Mentor and guide fellow engineers in design, development, and system maintenance
- Influence future architecture and quality standards within the domain
- Identify and optimize system performance issues, including managing technical debt
- Ensure risks linked to business activities are properly identified, measured, monitored, and controlled
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, product, and data analytics
