Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 6 years of expertise in software development showcasing a strong technical understanding in specific technologies
- At least 4 years of experience in delivering technology solutions across all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Basic proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, or Python
- Proven experience in researching and resolving technical challenges creatively
- Demonstrated ability to address production issues through effective troubleshooting of applications and systems
- Strong knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals
- Experience working with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions across various technologies to integrate existing systems and tools
- Collaborate with engineers or architects within and occasionally outside of the department
- Conduct code and design reviews, providing updates to stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and planning
- Develop algorithms to meet business requirements
- Investigate and resolve complex application and system issues, directing troubleshooting efforts for end-to-end solutions
- Mentor and coach engineers on system design, development, and maintenance practices
- Influence and contribute to the architectural vision and quality standards of the domain
- Identify and optimize system performance issues, including technical debt
- Manage risks associated with business operations in line with compliance policies
