Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 6 years of software development experience with proficiency in specific technologies
- 4 years of experience in delivering technology solutions through all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Basic understanding of programming languages like Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, or Python
- Proven experience in researching technical issues and providing innovative solutions
- Experience in troubleshooting production issues within applications and systems
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions clearly
- Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and system fundamentals
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Create, develop, code, and test intricate tactical and strategic technical solutions using various technologies
- Collaborate with engineers or architects in integrating existing systems and tools
- Spearhead code/design reviews and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Formulate complex algorithms to address business needs
- Investigate and resolve complicated technical problems and production issues
- Mentor and coach engineers on system design, development, and maintenance
- Help shape architecture and quality standards for the domain
- Identify system performance issues and optimize solutions accordingly
- Manage and control risks associated with business activities in compliance with policies
