Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree; OR 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree
- 10 years in Information Technology, including 2 years in a technical leadership role
- Experience in technology application development or infrastructure implementation
- Extensive knowledge in at least one technology domain (application, infrastructure, operations, etc.)
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to varied audiences
- Experience in building strong, trust-based relationships with management and stakeholders
- Familiarity with technical architecture standards and risk management practices
Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-channel digital experiences (web, mobile, IVR) for millions of users
- Modernize APIs and services utilizing REST, GraphQL, and cloud-native services on AWS/OpenShift/Kubernetes
- Create real-time and event-driven architectures using tools such as Kafka and AppSync
- Collaborate with product and design teams to enhance accessibility and performance across digital platforms
- Integrate analytics tools for data-driven insights and member personalization
- Develop API-first strategies and microservices architectures for enterprise-level systems
- Establish engineering standards and testing practices to improve reliability and speed
- Provide guidance for AI/ML-driven personalization strategies and data-informed decision-making
- Lead modernization projects for legacy systems with cloud-native technologies
- Prototype and implement experience management frameworks leveraging Kubernetes and Snowflake
- Influence technology decisions through engagement with governance boards
- Mentor engineering teams and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Foster collaboration across product, data science, and operations teams to align technology with business objectives
- Represent the engineering department in strategic discussions and promote best practices
