Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data Science, or Business Analysis
- 4 years of relevant experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics may substitute for a degree
- Minimum of 6 years of data & analytics experience, or 4 years of experience with 2 years of progressive functional business experience in the industry
- Advanced skills in statistical and mathematical techniques for fact-based decision-making
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, data visualization, and query development in SQL, SAS, or BI tools
- Familiarity with emerging data sets and their integration into analytical insights
- Ability to connect external data insights to business challenges
Responsibilities
- Employ advanced analytical techniques to address significant business challenges with a medium to large scale impact
- Engage with cross-functional teams to comprehend and influence complex business objectives
- Formulate actionable insights and recommendations through innovative analytical methods
- Create communication materials to present findings to various management levels effectively
- Utilize visualization methods to enhance clarity and understanding for non-technical audiences
- Collect and verify quality data sources for in-depth analysis on proposed strategies
- Document assumptions, methodologies, validations, and testing for compliance and peer reviews
- Stay current with technological advancements in data analytics applicable to problem-solving
- Present analyses clearly to various management levels to influence business strategy
- Provide subject matter expertise in implementing recommendations
- Identify opportunities for ongoing learning in the data and analytics field
