Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience in place of a degree OR an approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT.
- 4 years of experience in software development showcasing a deep technical understanding in specific disciplines or technologies.
- 2 years of experience in delivering technology solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including leading code and design reviews.
- Basic knowledge of one or more of the following: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python.
- Developing discernment in business operations, risk management, industry practices, and emerging trends.
- Experience providing support for production issues through application and system troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in conveying technical challenges and solutions.
- Fundamental understanding of cloud technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test sophisticated technical solutions.
- Investigate and resolve intricate application and system-related issues and production challenges through robust troubleshooting methods.
- Continuously enhance operations by performing thorough systems analysis and recommending policy and procedure modifications.
- Prepare and implement complex solutions by identifying and designing system specifications, standards, and programming requirements.
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews and gain insights into key system design principles.
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially begin mentoring peers; review teammates code.
- Ensure that risks linked to business activities are effectively identified, assessed, monitored, and controlled in accordance with established policies and procedures.
