Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience in place of a degree or approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT
- 4 years of software development experience showcasing deep technical understanding within specific technologies
- 2 years of experience delivering technology solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Basic understanding of one or more programming languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, or Python
- Developing level of business insight in operations, risk management, and industry trends
- Experience in addressing production issues through application and system fixes
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and propose solutions
- Basic comprehension of cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test intricate technical solutions
- Investigate and resolve complex application and system issues through effective problem-solving techniques
- Conduct systems analysis to enhance operations and recommend policy and procedure modifications
- Prepare and implement sophisticated solutions by defining system specifications and programming standards
- Participate in design reviews and grasp essential system design principles
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially peer engineers; review code from teammates
- Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks associated with business activities in line with risk and compliance protocols
