Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or other quantitative fields (or 4 additional years of relevant experience may replace the degree requirement)
- 8 years of experience in data and analytics within a complex financial services organization
- 3 years of leadership experience in developing and managing high-performing teams
- Proven ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and influence strategic decisions
- Strong understanding of business metrics, operations, industry practices, and emerging trends
- Experience leading projects utilizing Agile methodologies
- Ability to conduct large-scale data analysis to inform business decisions
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to executive leadership
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage strategic, operational, and financial aspects of data storage, preparation, exploration, and delivery
- Oversee the development and execution of analytics platforms and solutions for business stakeholders
- Ensure effective management of end-to-end information processes and analytics delivery
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance current processes and technology
- Provide thought leadership to influence data architecture decisions
- Direct data reporting initiatives to identify analytical opportunities and enhance self-service capabilities
- Offer strategic insights to senior leadership to support functional objectives
- Shape analytic direction based on business strategies and outcomes
- Facilitate innovation by prioritizing work, managing capacity, and resolving issues
- Ensure understanding of business processes and risks within information delivery teams
- Seek advanced data techniques to resolve business challenges while managing associated risks
