Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience (4 additional years beyond the minimum can replace a degree)/n- Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT (Veterans for IT) or eFIT (Employees for IT)./n- 4 years of experience in software development demonstrating extensive technical knowledge in specific disciplines/technologies./n- 2 years of experience in delivering technology solutions throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews./n- Basic understanding of one or more programming languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python./n- Developing business acumen in operations, risk management, industry practices, and emerging trends./n- Experience in troubleshooting applications and systems to resolve production issues./n- Capability to clearly articulate technical challenges and propose solutions./n- Basic familiarity with cloud technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test sophisticated technical solutions./n- Investigate and troubleshoot complex application and system issues and production problems./n- Improve operations through detailed systems analysis and recommend policy and procedure changes./n- Prepare and install intricate solutions by establishing system specifications, standards, and programming methods./n- Adhere to the software development lifecycle processes./n- Engage in design reviews and familiarize with key system design principles./n- Mentor junior engineers and potentially guide peer engineers; review code from teammates./n- Ensure risks related to business activities are effectively identified, assessed, monitored, and controlled according to compliance policies and procedures.
