Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree OR an approved certification (e.g., from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT or eFIT)
- 4 years of software development experience with a focus on specific technologies
- 2 years of experience delivering technology solutions throughout the software development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews
- Fundamental knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Developing level of business acumen related to operations, risk management, and industry trends
- Experience in troubleshooting technical challenges within applications and systems
- Basic familiarity with cloud technologies and tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test advanced technical solutions
- Investigate and resolve complex application and system issues through effective troubleshooting
- Enhance operational efficiency by performing complex systems analysis and suggesting policy adjustments
- Prepare and implement intricate solutions by defining system specifications and programming standards
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle
- Engage in design reviews and grasp key system design principles
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially guide peer engineers; review teammates code
- Ensure risks linked to business activities are identified, assessed, monitored, and managed in accordance with compliance protocols.
