Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree; OR 4 years of related experience may substitute for degree
- Minimum of 10 years in Information Technology, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership position
- Experience in technology application development and operational implementation
- In-depth knowledge of at least one technology domain (application, infrastructure, operations, etc.)
- Proven ability to articulate complex technology decisions to diverse audiences
- Strong communication skills to build trust with management and stakeholders
- Understanding of technical architecture standards and knowledge of regulations and risk management best practices
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to grasp strategy, requirements, and risks
- Utilize expertise to make informed technology decisions with relevant architecture outputs
- Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders to guide architectural direction and execution
- Evaluate domain applications with business and application owners to pinpoint strengths and risks
- Draft architecture standards to ensure compliance of technology solutions
- Apply risk assessment methods to review and decide on waivers to architecture standards
- Engage in activities supporting the technology ecosystem, including solution design reviews and troubleshooting
- Mentor new architects and engineers in an open and respectful manner
- Maintain architecture domain documentation and ensure timely deliverables
- Establish external relationships with industry organizations and vendors
- Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance external visibility and contributions
