Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree; OR 4 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree
- 10 years of experience in Information Technology, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role
- Background in technology application development and/or infrastructure and operational implementation
- Strong knowledge in at least one technology domain related to applications or infrastructure
- Proven ability to explain complex technology choices to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in cultivating relationships with management and stakeholders
- Familiarity with technical architecture standards, principles, regulations, and risk management practices
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand strategies, requirements, risks, and controls
- Utilize expertise to create informed technology decisions with relevant architecture artifacts
- Build and maintain productive relationships with business and IT stakeholders and engineering resources
- Evaluate domain applications with business and application owners to identify strengths, weaknesses, and risks
- Advise business owners on proposed actions based on assessments
- Define and document architecture standards for compliance of technology solutions
- Employ risk assessment methods to evaluate and decide on architecture standard waivers
- Participate in technology ecosystem activities such as workstream planning and solution design reviews
- Provide mentorship for new architects, engineers, and IT colleagues
- Maintain architecture domain documentation and ensure timely delivery of enhancements
- Establish external relationships with industry organizations and vendors related to technology domains
- Develop a plan to enhance external presence through certifications, publications, and presentations
- Identify and control risks associated with business activities per compliance policies
