Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 10 years of experience in Information Technology, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Experience in application development or infrastructure and operational execution
- Profound knowledge in at least one technology domain relating to architecture, operations, or performance
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong relationship-building skills with management and stakeholders
- Understanding of technical architecture standards, principles, and risk management practices
Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-channel digital experiences (web, mobile, IVR) for millions of members
- Modernize enterprise APIs and services using technologies such as REST, GraphQL, and cloud-native solutions
- Develop real-time and event-driven architectures to enhance user experiences
- Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure accessibility and performance across all platforms
- Integrate analytics tools for data-driven insights and personalized experiences
- Define architecture strategies and integration patterns for large-scale systems
- Establish engineering standards and development lifecycles to improve delivery and reliability
- Provide guidance on AI/ML personalization frameworks and decision-making processes
- Lead modernization initiatives for legacy platforms by adopting innovative technologies
- Create experience management frameworks using Kubernetes and Snowflake for actionable insights
- Influence technology decisions through governance and collaboration with leadership
- Mentor engineering teams and promote a culture of reliability and continuous improvement
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align technology with business strategies
- Represent engineering interests in strategic discussions and advocate for best practices
