Requirements

Must:
- I hold a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or another quantitative discipline. Alternatively, I have 4 years of relevant experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics which may replace the degree requirement. - I possess 4 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business roles within the relevant industry (P&C, Banking, Finance), or I have an advanced degree in a quantitative analytics field combined with 2 years of experience in data/analytics or a functional business role within the respective industry. - I demonstrate proficiency in mathematical and statistical techniques that drive fact-based decision-making. - I have intermediate to advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, and developing analysis queries and procedures using SQL, SAS, BI tools, or other analysis software, along with relevant industry data and methods.

Responsibilities

- I leverage intermediate and some advanced analytical skills to engage in discussions with cross-functional teams, collaborating on business goals and influencing solution strategies. - I apply advanced analytical techniques to tackle medium to large-scale business challenges, impacting both current and future business strategies. - I utilize innovative scientific and quantitative analytical methods to derive conclusions and formulate 'insight to action' recommendations that align with business objectives and instigate necessary changes. - I translate recommendations into communication materials that effectively present insights to colleagues for peer review and to mid-to-upper level management, incorporating visualization strategies to enhance comprehension for less technical audiences. - I identify and gather the relevant data sources necessary to thoroughly address problems for my recommended strategies through testing or exploratory data analysis (EDA). - I integrate and transform diverse data sources while applying appropriate data hygiene techniques. - I meticulously document assumptions, methodologies, validations, and testing processes to facilitate peer reviews and compliance standards. - I stay abreast of emerging technologies that may influence the application of scientific methodologies and quantitative analytical approaches to problem-solving. - I deliver analysis and findings in a way that fosters understanding, influences mid-to-upper level management, garners support for recommendations, drives business decisions, and impacts business strategies. - I ensure that risks associated with business activities are effectively recognized, measured, monitored, and controlled according to risk and compliance policies and procedures.

Unfortunately, we do not offer relocation assistance for this role. Our salary range for this position is $93,770 - $179,240, with compensation based on your experience and market data.
