Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or any other quantitative discipline; OR 4 years of relevant experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics may replace the need for a degree.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business experience within the specific industry of responsibility (i.e., Property & Casualty, Banking, Finance) OR an advanced degree in a quantitative analytics field with 2 years of data/analytics or functional business experience in the relevant industry.
- Demonstrated competency in mathematical and statistical techniques for informed decision-making.
- Intermediate and some advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, and developing analysis queries and procedures in SQL, SAS, BI tools, or other analysis software, along with relevant industry data and methods.
Responsibilities
- Utilize intermediate and some advanced business, analytical, and technical knowledge to engage in discussions with cross-functional teams to understand and collaborate on business objectives and influence solution strategies.
- Employ advanced analytical techniques to tackle medium to large scale business problems, impacting current and/or future business strategies.
- Leverage innovative scientific/quantitative analytical approaches to derive conclusions and provide actionable recommendations that align with business objectives.
- Convert recommendations into communication materials to effectively present to colleagues for peer review and management at mid to upper levels.
- Use visualization techniques to illustrate key points in the analysis, making it easier for less technical audiences to understand.
- Identify and gather relevant, quality data sources necessary for fully addressing problems for the recommended strategy through testing or exploratory data analysis (EDA).
- Integrate and transform disparate data sources, determining appropriate data hygiene techniques to apply.
- Document assumptions, methodology, validation, and testing thoroughly to aid peer review and compliance requirements.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies that could impact the application of scientific methodologies and/or quantitative analytical approaches.
- Present analysis and findings in a way that enhances understanding, persuades mid to upper-level management, gains support for recommendations, drives business decisions, and influences overall business strategy.
- Ensure that risks connected with business activities are effectively identified, assessed, monitored, and managed according to compliance policies and procedures.

In this role, you will apply your advanced marketing analytics skills to deliver valuable insights and scalable frameworks that convert data into actionable strategies. This position is a remarkable opportunity for someone with a strong mix of technical know-how and business acumen, all while fostering trust through data and supporting decision-making across our organization. We provide a flexible work environment requiring in-office presence for 4 days per week, with options available in San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA, or Tampa, FL. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this role. Our compensation for this position ranges from $93,770 to $179,240, ensuring competitive pay based on your experience and market data.
