Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, economics, finance, actuarial sciences, science and engineering, or a related quantitative field; OR equivalent experience of 4 years in statistics, mathematics, quantitative analytics, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in predictive analytics or data analysis; OR an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, PhD) in a quantitative discipline.
- Proficiency in training and validating statistical and machine learning models.
- Experience with a scripting language (such as Python or R) for statistical analysis and AI/ML model development.
- Ability to write clear, well-structured, and commented code (high code transparency).
- Experience with data querying and preprocessing from various database types using SQL and similar languages.
- Familiarity with handling structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data formats.
- Understanding of classical supervised and unsupervised modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to convey analytical and modeling results to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Capture, interpret, and manipulate structured and unstructured data to provide analytical solutions for the organization.
- Select suitable modeling techniques and technologies while considering data constraints and business objectives.
- Develop and implement models in accordance with the Model Development Control and Model Risk Management frameworks.
- Prepare technical documentation for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.
- Consult with colleagues for guidance and mentorship as necessary.
- Translate business inquiries into specific analytical questions, conduct analysis, and present findings to non-technical teams.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, IT, and other internal departments to deploy analytical solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices.
- Pursue opportunities to learn new techniques and methodologies in the analytics field.
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified and managed in line with compliance regulations.
