Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics, economics, finance, actuarial sciences, engineering, or a related quantitative field; OR 4 years of experience in statistics, mathematics, quantitative analytics, or a related area may substitute for a degree. - 2 years of experience in predictive analytics or data analysis OR an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, PhD) in a quantitative field. - Proven experience in training and validating statistical, physical, and machine learning models. - Proficient in at least one scripting language (such as Python or R) for statistical analysis and AI/ML model development. - Ability to write clear, well-documented code to ensure comprehensibility. - Experienced in querying and managing data from various types of databases using query languages like SQL, HQL, and NoSQL. - Familiar with working with diverse data formats, including delimited numeric files, JSON/XML, and other data types. - Knowledge of descriptive, diagnostic, and inferential statistics for ad-hoc analytics. - Experienced in classical supervised and unsupervised modeling techniques such as regression, clustering algorithms, and decision trees. - Strong communication skills to convey analytical results to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Analyze and manipulate structured and unstructured data to provide actionable insights for the business. - Choose suitable modeling techniques and technologies, taking data limitations and business requirements into account. - Develop and implement models following the Model Development Control (MDC) and Model Risk Management (MRM) frameworks. - Prepare technical documentation for knowledge sharing and risk management purposes. - Mentor peers as needed for collaborative growth within the team. - Transform business requests into analytical questions, conduct analysis/modeling, and present findings effectively to non-technical audiences. - Collaborate with Data Engineering, IT, and other partners to implement analytical solutions that align with customer specifications and best practices. - Seek out learning opportunities to adopt new techniques and technologies. - Ensure risks associated with business activities are identified and managed according to compliance and risk policies.
