Requirements
Must:
- I require a Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- I look for 6 years of experience in Security Engineering and/or Information Technology with a focus on security, including experience leading enterprise technology projects or initiatives.
- I need at least 4 years of experience delivering technology solutions throughout all phases of a solution development lifecycle.
- I seek demonstrated experience in guiding security strategies, solutions, and/or initiatives, with a proven ability to successfully drive these efforts to completion.
- I expect working experience with modern programming/scripting languages and frameworks.
- I require experience designing, implementing, and leading security engineering activities utilizing modern DevSecOps practices.
- I look for demonstrated hands-on success with agile delivery methods and a desire to be flexible while consistently delivering value.
- I require the ability to address complex production issues by troubleshooting applications and systems.
- I seek experience working with platform engineering concepts on security best practices related to infrastructure/policy as code, security architecture design patterns, security vendor integrations, and CI/CD pipelines with built-in application security controls.
- I need experience in implementing event-driven security architecture, methods, and controls.
- I expect familiarity with cloud and emergent technologies such as Public Cloud, Containerization, Security Data Lakes, ML/LLMs, and GenAI.
Responsibilities
- I will ensure that security requirements are adequately addressed throughout all aspects of a solution/application enablement and sustainment lifecycle.
- My role includes designing, developing, coding, integrating, and testing intricate cross-functional technical solutions with a focus on security, often collaborating with engineers or architects outside of my team/department.
- I will lead code/design reviews and engineering efficiencies to guarantee effective operations and accurate planning.
- I will support the resolution of complex production issues and troubleshoot end-to-end solutions that span multiple applications and systems.
- I will work with architecture teams to help define directions for cross-functional or highly complex key technologies within a specific security domain.
- I will drive community impact by participating actively in internal and external training outlets, conferences, blogging, and engaging with professional societies, advisory boards, and consortiums.
- I will leverage Site Reliability Engineering practices in my domain while ensuring risks related to my domain activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies.
- I will support cross-functional efforts across the Enterprise as a subject matter expert in my domain.
- I will monitor and troubleshoot highly complex systems, tools, and vendor integrations, conducting continuous research, analysis, and troubleshooting to identify, resolve, and report on complex security issues.
- I will collaborate with Security Analysts, IT, and Business Partners to optimize, harden, and enhance security solutions and technologies to remain aligned with the latest trends and threats.
- I will provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, nurture a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, and ensure the team's knowledge stays current with the latest security trends and technologies.

Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position. Our compensation range for this position is $127,310 - $243,340. While we assess market data to ensure competitive pay, the actual salary may vary by location.
