Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years of related experience may substitute for the degree
- 10 years of experience in Information Technology, including 2 years in a technical leadership role
- Background in technology application development or infrastructure and operational implementation
- Comprehensive knowledge in at least one technology domain from various perspectives (application, infrastructure, etc.)
- Proven ability to articulate complex technology concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated capability in building high-trust relationships with management and stakeholders
- Understanding of technical architecture standards, principles, and risk management practices
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand strategies, requirements, risks, and measures
- Utilize expertise to formulate technology decisions and create architectural artifacts
- Cultivate reliable relationships with business and IT stakeholders to guide architecture solutions
- Assess domain applications to identify strengths, opportunities, and risks
- Advise business owners on potential actions based on assessments
- Define and document architecture standards to ensure compliance within technology solutions
- Employ risk assessment methods to evaluate architecture standards and manage waivers
- Participate in workstream planning, solution design reviews, and support incident troubleshooting
- Provide mentorship for new architects and IT colleagues
- Document and maintain architecture domain documentation and processes
- Establish external relationships with industry organizations and marketplaces
- Pursue professional certifications and contribute to industry through presentations and publications
- Ensure risks related to business operations are adequately identified and managed
