Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree
- Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT or eFIT
- 4 years of experience in software development with strong technical expertise
- 2 years of experience in delivering technology solutions across the software development lifecycle
- Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, Python
- Demonstrated understanding of business operations, risk management, and emerging trends
- Experience troubleshooting applications and addressing production issues
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Basic familiarity with cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test intricate technical solutions
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues within applications and systems
- Continuously enhance operations by analyzing systems and suggesting policy and procedure improvements
- Prepare complex solutions by defining design specifications and programming standards
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle methodologies
- Participate in design reviews and learn essential system design principles
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially peer engineers; review code submitted by teammates
- Ensure effective identification, measurement, monitoring, and control of risks in business activities according to compliance policies
