Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Certification from recognized institutions such as CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT, or eFIT
- 4 years of experience in software development with in-depth technical knowledge in specific technologies
- 2 years of experience in delivering technology solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews
- Basic understanding of languages/tools such as Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python
- Developing business acumen in operations, risk management, industry trends, and practices
- Experience in troubleshooting applications and systems to resolve production issues
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test intricate technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and system issues
- Analyze systems and recommend enhancements to improve operations
- Determine system specifications and standards for complex solution installations
- Adhere to the software development lifecycle throughout projects
- Participate in design reviews and apply key system design principles
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers and collaborate with peers for code reviews
- Identify, measure, and control risks associated with business activities in line with compliance policies
