Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in quantitative analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related field
- 4 additional years of relevant experience may replace the need for a degree
- 6 years of experience using analytic coding techniques, visualization tools, and developing reporting dashboards
- 3 years of experience with SAS, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, RPA, or similar data analysis tools
- 3 years of experience in a data and analytics role within Audit or Controls
- 2 years of experience in creating visual analytics to narrate findings from data in an Audit environment
- Familiarity with database management, including Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Data Loads
- Capacity to proactively pinpoint issues and suggest resolution strategies
- Proficiency in synthesizing data from diverse sources to achieve audit objectives
- Experience in constructing continuous reporting and automation solutions for risk identification
- Understanding of audit or Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) software like Archer
- Knowledge of the insurance and financial services sector and relevant regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to provide actionable feedback and solutions
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement audit data analytics for assigned areas within Audit services
- Collaborate with various levels in the Audit department to identify potential for data analytics integrations
- Define use cases while working alongside business analytics consultants and audit teams to embed solutions
- Identify ongoing analytics and automation opportunities within assigned audits
- Execute the data strategy and transformation to align with Audit business objectives
- Assist in planning and managing the innovation pipeline, providing strategic updates to leadership teams
- Participate in or lead discussions on data analytics throughout the audit lifecycle with partners
- Engage with colleagues, managers, and leaders to serve as an advisor for the audit leadership team
- Present insights from data analytics to audit and business partners
- Implement data analysis for assigned audits and discover continuous analytics solutions
- Offer expertise to operationalize data-driven recommendations
- Develop and apply visualization techniques for clearer analysis communication to non-technical audiences
- Utilize advanced analytical knowledge to engage in discussions regarding complex audit/business goals
- Apply creative and analytical strategies to derive conclusions and recommend actionable insights
