Asset-Liability Management Specialist

- Execute advanced work assignments using actuarial modeling software for pricing, valuation, and risk management. - Review regulations to ensure compliance and provide suggestions for process improvements; monitor industry changes in laws and regulations. - Operate models, generate reports, and present detailed analyses and recommendations to Actuarial Leadership. - Propose adjustments and improvements to models when warranted. - Provide guidance and support to team members on raised issues to facilitate project completion. - Lead or contribute as a key resource on moderately complex projects through all phases with minimal supervision. - Create exhibits and reports that effectively communicate findings and proposals to stakeholders. - Identify business problems and suggest independent solutions, often presenting these recommendations to leadership. - Maintain accurate pricing structure and data requirements to meet profitability and competitive objectives. - Monitor critical assumptions and suggest timely interventions for unfavorable trends. - Assess the impact of assumptions by analyzing sources of gains and losses, premiums, interest margins, reserves, and product viability.
