Requirements
Must:
- 4 years of experience in statistical programming or statistical interpretation
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with statistical programming languages including SAS and SQL, with a shift to Python by 2026
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Customer service orientation
- Capability to perform complex mathematical calculations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences
- Understanding of mathematical or statistical concepts
Responsibilities
- Conduct intricate statistical analyses using standard reporting, ad hoc reporting, and data mining tools to uncover patterns and trends
- Create charts, graphics, and comprehensive reports to articulate data findings
- Develop and maintain complex database programs for data extraction and reporting purposes
- Draft detailed documentation outlining all procedural responsibilities
- Design and execute complex sampling methodologies for sample selection
- Offer in-depth data interpretation, compilation, and verification to support departmental initiatives
- Participate in the formulation of articles for internal and external publication
- Take on leadership roles as designated by management, particularly in the development of change requests and testing plans for current database tables
- Assist in drafting project plans and maintain systems life cycle integrity while performing quality assurance on relational databases
- Identify new data sources and provide feedback to management both verbally and in writing
