Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing complex electrical or electro-mechanical systems
- Strong programming skills in C, Python, LabView, or LabWindows
- Proficiency in FPGA programming and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to technical challenges
- Proven capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within teams
- Experience with measurement devices and calibration processes
- Knowledge of automated test systems and programming automated tests
- Hands-on experience with instruments like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
- Experience in troubleshooting both analog and digital electronics
- Ability to document technical information clearly and concisely
Responsibilities
- Develop specifications, testing protocols, inspections, and documentation for nuclear reactor technology
- Conduct and oversee both confirmation and validation testing for next-generation reactor systems
- Plan, schedule, and execute engineered tests to align with customer and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate effectively with team members and interdepartmental stakeholders
- Identify and manage technical risks throughout project execution
- Provide strong design foundations that fulfill project objectives and industry standards
- Prepare and present technical findings to colleagues and clients
- Assist technicians in setting up testing equipment and preparing the test facility
- Create manual or automated test procedures to ensure product reliability
- Offer technical support to technicians during various testing processes
- Occasionally travel to support customer and supplier engagements
