Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in electronics and software design
- 2+ years of experience with LabVIEW programming preferred
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering is required; Masters degree is preferable
- Proficient in designing test systems for high-reliability applications like medical, aerospace, or automotive sectors
- Familiarity with electronic test system design and development
- Experience with various types of data acquisition techniques
- Strong documentation skills to clearly articulate designs and reports
- Ability to effectively collaborate with team members during specification development and troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Develop custom automated test equipment (ATE) for both research and development verification/validation and production testing
- Oversee the ATE process from initial prototype stages alongside the design team to delivering validated test equipment to manufacturing
- Define and craft test requirements and specifications to enhance testing efficiency, collaborating with design, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Conduct statistical analysis for test systems, determining the necessary test equipment and estimating costs
- Generate essential documentation like manufacturing test specifications, test software requirements, and validation plans/reports
- Validate test systems and fixtures within an FDA-regulated medical environment
- Assist in troubleshooting products to support sustaining operations
- Participate in verification and validation testing for new product development
