Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in SQL Server Administration
- At least 3+ years of experience in Redis Administration
- Strong background in managing large-scale, high-performance database systems
- Expertise in database performance optimization, backup/recovery processes, and high availability configurations
- Experience with Windows Server and RHEL environments
- Familiarity with monitoring, ticketing, and backup tools
- Bachelors degree in a related field
Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and support SQL Server and Redis database systems
- Engage in problem triage and resolution for complex database issues within production environments
- Manage and maintain Very Large Databases (VLDBs) and high-volume OLTP systems
- Handle incidents, service requests, and changes using ticketing systems
- Ensure effective database performance tuning, availability, and disaster recovery measures
- Operate across Windows and RHEL platforms to facilitate database operations
- Manage multiple moderately complex projects and contribute to special initiatives or operational enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate issues
- Implement and uphold database security, access controls, and compliance protocols
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell where appropriate
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
