Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of pertinent experience
- Proficient with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps methodologies
- Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot
- Experience in building REST APIs and Microservices from the ground up
- Familiar with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio
- Background in open-source streaming technologies such as Kafka
- Experience implementing Redis caching in applications
- Knowledge of open-source databases like PostgreSQL and Cassandra
- Familiarity with open-source flow-based frameworks such as Flink or NiFi/Airflow
- Experience with ReactJS for web development is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Analyze, design, test, develop, and maintain outstanding software solutions
- Assume full-stack responsibility by writing production-ready and testable code
- Produce optimal designs following architectural best practices, focusing on scalability, reliability, and system performance
- Analyze failures, recommend design modifications, and promote operational enhancements
- Make informed design and coding decisions prioritizing customer experience
- Incorporate feedback from code reviews to meet compliance standards
- Conduct code reviews to guide on best engineering practices and adherence to development processes
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of product development concerning security and best practices
- Maintain a relentless focus on software reliability engineering standards within the development process
- Embrace new technological advancements and contribute to best practices aligning with the banks tech transformation
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Critically review tasks to ensure they are prioritized appropriately for incremental delivery and communicate potential blockers or delays proactively
