Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
- Three to five years of relevant industry experience
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, particularly with DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Comprehensive understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Familiarity with popular React.js workflows (e.g., Flux or Redux)
- Knowledge of current EcmaScript specifications
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
- An understanding of isomorphic React is advantageous
- Understanding of RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS
- Experience with GIT is a plus
- Knowledge of modern authorization methods, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with contemporary front-end build pipelines and tools
- Proficiency in common front-end development tools like Babel, Webpack, and NPM
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
- Skill in benchmarking and performance optimization
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
- Thorough comprehension of the features, their user impact, workflows, and purpose
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products
- Assume full stack ownership by consistently creating production-ready and testable code
- Develop optimal designs following architectural best practices, ensuring scalability, reliability, and system performance
- Analyze failures, recommend design modifications, and support operational enhancements
- Prioritize customer experience in design and coding decisions
- Implement feedback received during code reviews to meet standards
- Conduct code reviews to mentor on engineering best practices and adherence to development protocols
- Ensure compliance and security standards are followed throughout product development
- Maintain a strong focus on software reliability engineering standards integrated into development practices
- Leverage new technology opportunities and contribute to best practices in support of the banks technological advancement
- Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous enhancement
- Critically assess and manage task prioritization and sizing for incremental delivery while proactively addressing potential roadblocks
