Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
- Five to six years of relevant industry experience
- Proficient in programming with Golang; PHP experience is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of MySQL and relational database design
- Hands-on expertise with AWS, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Skilled in system design, API development, and microservices architecture
- Familiar with secure coding practices and data protection regulations (HIPAA, PII, PCI DSS)
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain top-tier software products
- Take full stack ownership by consistently delivering production-ready and testable code
- Create optimal designs in accordance with best architectural practices, focusing on scalability, reliability, and system performance
- Analyze failures, propose design modifications, and advocate for operational enhancements
- Make well-informed design and coding decisions with customer experience as a priority
- Accept feedback from code reviews and implement necessary changes to meet standards
- Conduct code reviews to guide on engineering best practices and adherence to development procedures
- Ensure all product development aspects comply with security and regulatory best practices
- Maintain a strong emphasis on software reliability engineering integrated into development standards
- Embrace emerging technologies and contribute to best practices supporting the banks technology transformation
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Critically assess tasks to ensure they are properly prioritized and sized for incremental delivery; proactively communicate potential blockers and delays
