Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience - Minimum of seven years in data governance strategy, planning, and policy - Familiarity with Data Management/Governance and Risk/Compliance/Audit disciplines - Experience in Enterprise Risk Management - Understanding of business line operations, products, systems, and associated risks/controls - Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and trends in financial services - Background in a regulatory environment, such as banking or financial markets - Demonstrated success in delivering cross-functional projects or programs - Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently - Excellent analytical, process facilitation, and project management skills - Strong relationship-building and negotiation abilities - Effective presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficient in computer software applications, including Microsoft tools - Technical proficiency in SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and data governance tools like Collibra and Purview - Experience in quantitative analytics and developing data quality thresholds - Background in training and communications across diverse activities and audiences

Responsibilities

- Lead the development and execution of policies, procedures, guidance, and internal tools for multiple programs/workstreams - Oversee various dedicated and cross-functional projects to enhance Enterprise Data Governance capabilities - Review and evaluate risks and issues, escalating high risks as necessary and presenting recommendations to senior leadership - Collaborate with EDG leadership and other workstream leaders on interconnected topics and initiatives - Coordinate with senior representatives from different business lines - Present updates and results to internal and external stakeholders, including large audiences and enterprise-level communications
