Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, data science, mathematics, or statistics. - Over 10 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, platform enablement, or data product roles. - Strong command of modern data engineering concepts, including batch and streaming data processing and data product design. - Expertise in SQL and Python, with skills for prototyping, validating, and guiding implementation methods. - Familiarity with orchestration and workflow management tools. - Practical experience with contemporary data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks. - Proven ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams without formal authority. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, focusing on optimization and root cause analysis. - Strong communication skills to engage technical teams and senior stakeholders effectively. - Understanding of banking and financial institution terminology is advantageous. - Experience across cloud ecosystems, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Lead the creation and evolution of reusable data product accelerators and reference architectures across platforms like Snowflake and Databricks. - Act as a senior advisor for technical and product decisions for teams adopting enterprise data platforms and tools. - Identify common challenges in data product delivery and design scalable solutions to alleviate these issues. - Collaborate with platform, architecture, and governance teams to assess, test, and confirm data and analytics tools. - Conduct proofs of concept and comparative analyses to guide tool rationalization and standardization initiatives. - Translate platform features into accessible adoption pathways, playbooks, and usage instructions for teams. - Apply product-centric thinking to data and analytics solutions to ensure usability and measurable outcomes. - Establish success metrics for accelerators and enablement efforts, monitoring adoption rates and productivity improvements. - Continuously enhance assets based on feedback and evolving enterprise requirements. - Coordinate closely with data engineers, analytics engineers, architects, and governance teams to ensure alignment with the Enterprise Data Strategy. - Serve as a connector across teams, ensuring consistency while accommodating specific domain needs. - Influence product and engineering standards through demonstrated expertise and successful results. - Test and analyze emerging data and AI tools, platforms, and services, documenting project outcomes and plans.
