Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related role
- 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable applications using Python
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with code reviews and system design discussions
- Development of CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes
- Implementation of AWS and Azure cloud solutions
- Automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
- Experience in developing and maintaining containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Enhancement of system security through IAM, SSO, MFA, and policy management
- Implementation of centralized monitoring and logging solutions using ELK Stack, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch
- Ability to write automation scripts in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, REST APIs, Microservices, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence
Responsibilities
- Implement and support security solutions to safeguard data and assets from unauthorized access and risks
- Provide security oversight and manage risk for Information Security projects
- Establish security design guidelines, frameworks, and models
- Identify emerging security issues and formulate mitigation strategies
- Document security objectives and assist in their achievement
- Provision, deploy, and manage applications across virtualized and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Design and automate infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Configure cloud security elements like elastic network security and IAM roles
- Develop, test, and engineer features in object-oriented languages, particularly Python
- Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters for scalable deployments
- Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines for automation
- Implement observability solutions using the ELK Stack and Splunk
- Participate in Agile/Scrum teams using JIRA for tracking and Git for version control
