Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a pertinent field or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of experience in statistical and/or data analytics
- Experience in the financial services sector with knowledge of banking data and industry dynamics
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities and a strategic approach
- Advanced SQL proficiency for querying and analyzing complicated datasets
- Expertise in creating user-friendly, scalable Power BI dashboards
- Capability to conduct descriptive and advanced statistical analyses on extensive datasets
- Proven track record of translating analytical results into actionable business insights
- Familiarity with various analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, and geospatial applications
- Exposure to cloud technologies like Azure or Databricks
- Experience with advanced analytics or predictive modeling techniques
- Strong abilities in project management, communication, and engaging with stakeholders
- Well-organized and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced work environment
Responsibilities
- Analyze extensive and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities in retail consumer and banking data
- Perform in-depth analyses applying statistical methods to provide clear insights and strategic recommendations
- Develop intuitive and scalable Power BI dashboards to facilitate leadership decision-making
- Source, integrate, and model data from various systems, improving data pipelines for reporting and analytics
- Collaborate with data engineering and business partners to enhance data quality and infrastructure
- Transform business queries into analytical tasks and convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Evaluate and monitor the impact of recommendations, adjusting analyses as necessary
- Ensure compliance with company standards regarding data acquisition, sharing, and outputs
