Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline like computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics.
- 7-10 years of experience in fields such as AI enablement, data engineering, analytics engineering, or data product roles.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data products and their application for analytics and AI use cases.
- Proficiency in modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and the ability to leverage data products for AI workflows.
- Experience in developing AI solutions using programming languages like Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with AI enablement methods, including retrieval-augmented generation and model integration approaches.
- Ability to assess trade-offs across various AI tools and data platforms for scalability and governance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of navigating ambiguous situations.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams across data, governance, and product disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Prototype and validate AI capabilities utilizing governed enterprise data products, including standardized models and reusable data interfaces.
- Develop and refine reusable AI enablement patterns, such as Snowpark workloads and Cortex AI functions.
- Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to ensure optimal structure and documentation of data assets for AI applications.
- Translate experimental AI solutions into reference implementations and reusable patterns suited for cross-team usage.
- Work with data governance and control teams to align with responsible AI standards, documenting necessary constraints and handoffs.
- Integrate validated AI patterns into enterprise experiences in collaboration with the AI Center of Excellence.
- Experiment with new AI tools and frameworks, conducting technical assessments and proofs of concept.
- Identify friction points in AI adoption and devise scalable, data-focused solutions to alleviate complexity and risks.
- Document project outcomes, usage data, and operational considerations to guide enterprise rollout and enablement.
- Liaise closely with various engineering and analytics teams to ensure alignment of AI solutions with the enterprise data strategy.
