Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in security operations
- Technical expertise with CCTV systems, access control technologies, and security software programming
- Demonstrated skills in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting electronic security devices
- Knowledgeable in badge reader systems and access control management
- Exceptional attention to detail and observational abilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Physical capability to conduct patrols and security assessments
- Intermediate computer proficiency for programming, report generation, and database management
- Experience in mentoring and developing team members
Responsibilities
- Managing security technology systems and ensuring adherence to security protocols
- Programming and configuring security control systems, including camera and badge reader installations
- Installing, testing, and maintaining CCTV surveillance and access control equipment
- Overseeing badge access systems, including user provisioning and modifying access levels
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with security hardware and software
- Collaborating with IT and vendors for system improvements and integrations
- Monitoring CCTV for suspicious activities or security incidents
- Conducting physical patrols of the premises via vehicle
- Documenting all activities in Daily Activity Reports
- Tracking and recording site visitors
- Handling incoming packages
- Reporting any security issues to the Site Manager
- Securing all emergency exits
- Training and supervising junior security staff and technicians
- Leading shift briefings and coordinating communications with oncoming staff
- Developing and executing security protocols and best practices
- Organizing task assignments and work schedules for the security team
- Assisting Field and Repair Teams as needed
- Performing performance evaluations and providing guidance to team members
