Control Systems Engineer - Automation Focus

- Conduct design evaluations for infrastructure and tenant improvement HVAC controls projects to verify compliance with relevant standards and stakeholder expectations - Review technical control sequences of operation, programming logic, and associated functional performance test plans - Perform site inspections during project implementation to ensure adherence to scope and identify potential risks - Collaborate with project teams to address stakeholder needs and resolve issues efficiently within project timelines - Engage with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project specifications are fulfilled - Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance - Communicate regular updates and reports on project progress - Provide guidance to the mechanical engineering team on controls as necessary - Proactively pinpoint and address process deficiencies, implementing necessary improvements - Ensure ongoing quality assurance of internal documentation and databases - Prepare and deliver reports to stakeholders to promote effective solutions - Suggest new methodologies and modifications to current processes for continuous improvement - Supervise the installation and setup of BMS and/or BOS hardware and software - Create and implement comprehensive commissioning strategies - Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues during commissioning and operational phases - Implement controls program transitions to in-operation servers - Analyze operational trends, alarms, and data post-clip-in to ensure control systems function as designed - Observe system performance and identify areas for optimization
