Requirements
Must:
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating business processes and application functionality.
- Proficiency in understanding technical design specifications with knowledge of development tools and IT architecture.
- Capability to develop and articulate project plans for both small and large projects alongside Project Managers.
- Familiarity with COBIT5-based IT Governance and Management framework or other structured methodologies.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for presenting information effectively.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
- Minimum of four years of SAP configuration experience, including system analysis, design, development, and support duties, with at least two years in SAP FSM.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP WM is preferred.
- ITIL Foundation certification required within 12 months of employment.
- Preferred SAP professional certification in relevant disciplines.
- Over two years of experience supporting systems with an RDBMS, focusing on systems analysis and technical specifications generation based on business unit requirements.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements for Operational Solutions into the SAP system through the SAP Configuration IMG.
- Assist with documentation and estimates during the request and analysis phases of the SDLC.
- Design, develop, test, and implement solutions while producing necessary deliverables and reviewing work from junior staff.
- Collaborate with business unit analysts and IT resources to create new systems and enhance existing ones in line with evolving business needs.
- Perform configuration to align with defined business processes and conduct timely testing and validation of changes.
- Maintain strong business and system knowledge related to functional areas and assigned business units.
- Troubleshoot IT application issues, investigating root causes and supporting daily batch processing.
- Provide primary and secondary support for critical core applications 24/7.
- Generate thorough documentation throughout project phases, including project charters and technical test plans.
- Document configuration procedures for all applicable SAP systems using clear instructions and visuals.
- Follow change management procedures to ensure applications and modifications comply with IT controls.
- Manage vendor relationships to guarantee ongoing product support that meets the companys needs.
- Keep updated on market trends related to products and services, delivering input on technology strategies related to business units.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
