We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the Director of IT, Clinical Engineering position, who meets the following qualifications: - A Bachelor’s degree. - At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years of leadership experience. - Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and medical device integration. - Proven knowledge of the principles and practices related to medical equipment maintenance, repair, safety, and compliance with regulations. - A strong understanding of medical device technology, standards, and regulations. - A successful track record of managing and leading a high-performing technical team. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both clinical and technical personnel. - Experience with capital equipment planning and procurement processes. - Certification as a Clinical Engineer (CCE) or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) is preferred.

In this strategic and operational role, I will entrust you with key responsibilities that encompass the hospital's efforts in the following areas: - Strategic Leadership & Vision: You'll develop and execute a comprehensive clinical engineering strategy that aligns with our healthcare system's clinical, operational, and financial objectives, while anticipating future medical technology trends. - Equipment Lifecycle Management: I will rely on you to oversee the entire lifecycle of medical equipment—from acquisition and installation to maintenance, repair, calibration, and disposal. Collaborating with clinical and financial stakeholders, you'll also manage the equipment planning process. - Technology Assessment & Integration: You will lead the evaluation of new and emerging medical technologies and work alongside IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration with our information systems. - Team Leadership & Development: Your strong leadership will guide our clinical engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and improvement while establishing clear performance expectations and promoting professional growth among team members. - Budget Management: You'll be responsible for crafting and overseeing the clinical engineering department’s budget, ensuring operations are cost-effective. - Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clinical staff, physicians, nurses, IT professionals, and facilities management will be essential, as well as communicating the clinical engineering activities, challenges, and initiatives across all organizational levels.

Your compensation will range from $69.65 to $111.44 per hour, influenced by your relevant experience.
