Senior Software Engineer

In your role as a Principal Software Engineer, you will take charge of strategic leadership by collaborating with product and engineering leaders to comprehend product-level business objectives and align technical strategies with broader divisional goals. You will drive business outcomes by working closely with product line leaders and engage in strategic discussions while contributing to technical execution, balancing hands-on coding with strategic oversight. You will demonstrate technical excellence by engaging in hands-on coding to create and deploy distributed, highly available, and scalable enterprise applications, ensuring quality and performance. Your relentless pursuit of opportunities for improving team efficiency through innovative tooling, frameworks, and best practices will be instrumental, as will your leadership in developing robust software solutions while upholding high standards for both functional and non-functional qualities. You will also facilitate team enablement and growth by mentoring and coaching engineers, providing them with opportunities to expand their capabilities, and taking on challenging tasks that push team limits while contributing your own coding expertise. Fostering an environment that encourages risk-taking and experimentation while minimizing the impact of potential failures and maximizing learning experiences will be key to your approach. You will work to increase team autonomy and cultivate a culture of ongoing improvement.
